Pregnancy Back Pain Kit

For many pregnant women back pain is often felt, especially the second trimester onward. This is due to ligaments naturally becoming softer and stretching to prepare the body for labour. Â Consequently, this can put strain on the joints of the lower back and pelvis, which can cause backache.
In order to reduce this lower back and pelvic pain it is important to keep these areas supported. A simple solution for this can be a portable lumbar support and seat wedge (coccyx cut out/non coccyx cut out) to elevate the hips and encourage an open posture (products seen above). These supports may also be beneficial post pregnancy.
These products can be freely trialled at The Studio or brought to your workplace (fee applicable). Appointment necessary.
